Warriewood is a suburb in northern Sydney, located 26 kilometres north of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Northern Beaches Council formerly known as Pittwater Council. Warriewood is part of the Northern Beaches region.
Warriewood takes its name from the Warriewood Estate that was subdivided in 1906 by Henry F. Halloran, who had purchased it from the McPherson family.
Originally, Warriewood Valley was full of market gardens and a drive in cinema.
Our Warriewood buyers agent has an amazing knowledge of Warriewood’s history and the amenities, features and benefits that make it the great suburb it is today.
Over the years Warriewood has become a real suburb of contrast
In the valley, extensive subdivision and development has taken place with hundreds of new homes and apartments being built by companies like Meriton, Australand and Clarendon.
There has also been the addition of several large scale 4-5 star retirement complexes built.
In contrast, Warriewood Headland offers a prestigious location nestled between Warriewood and Turrimetta Beaches.
There are still many original style homes on Warriewood Headland still on offer but these are slowly disappearing with the onslaught of new luxury prestige homes. There is an amphitheatre of architectural masterpieces overlooking both Warriewood and Turimetta Beach.
Warriewood Headland is serviced by a local shopping strip containing quality cafes and restaurants.
Warriewood features a medium-sized shopping mall and a cinema complex, mini putt-putt golf/driving range and a fully patrolled swimming beach.
Warriewood is also the home of a Catholic high school, namely Mater Maria Catholic College.
Over the last 25 years our Warriewood buyers agent has secured many quality “on and off market” properties on behalf of our clients.
Warriewood is a suburb with a style of property to suit all needs and wants
